Take Me Home
Welcome to
A Cottage at Covington Cove

What those that came before you had to say.
Dear Nancy
We were so lucky to stay at your cottage for our 1st visit to Union Pier!

The location is great - especially for newcomers wanting to venture the area. The cottage is convenient to shops, restaurants and of course, beautiful Lake Michigan.

Your cottage is immaculate, and we felt right "at home" when we walked in.

Thank you for making our 15th wedding anniversary so special and memorable!!!

We will be back!

Dear Nancy,
And I thought I'd over glorified the cottage's charm in my memory of last year. But, no, it is as peaceful, charming and restful as I remember---perhaps more so.

You keep updating, changing and trying for even better!

And you are a most caring and gracious hostess checking in with us (as you did last year and this year) to make sure everything was ok.

I can't wait for my "same time next year!"

Thanks so much,

I wanted to write to tell you that our second year was even better than the first.

Relaxing was the name of the game and your place, a Cottage at Covington Cove, gave us the chance to "recharge our batteries".

Rain or shine there was always something to entertain us...even our new pet shark enjoyed his stay (or was it her stay)?

Glad we booked again for next year, it will give us something to look forward to in February.

Your place feels like home, we love it!

Dear Nancy,
Thanks for the two glorious weeks in August at your cottage, a Cottage at Covington Cove. Your cottage is darling, cozy, very clean and modern.

The weather was fantastic, good thing for us because as photographers who photograph children and families on the beach, good weather is something we always hope for.

We had plenty of time however to relax on the private beach, a hop, skip and a jump (in our daughter's case) from the cottage.

We can't wait to come back next year !!!!!

Hi Nancy.
Just wanted to let you know that we got home safely, and are relaxed and well rested from our stay at your cottage. It's so nice of you to share your lovely cottage with others, and both John and I appreciated your calling to make sure everything was to our liking.

Everything about the place was absolutely perfect, from the beautiful interior decor to all the amenities you supplied.

Next trip we're planning to pack just our bathing suits, a couple changes of clothes and our toiletries. You've got everything else covered!

We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay, and are looking forward to returning soon.

In the meantime, our memories and our pictures will have to do.

All the best... John, Vicky & Hershey...Ohio (Summer 2005)

P.S. The state park just north of you is a great place for hiking!

Dear Nancy,
We just wanted to say that we had a nice relaxing time at the cottage.

Everything was as you described it to be on your website! (I especially loved the 'rain' shower after a day at the beach.

The beach was beautiful and from the pictures you can see who enjoyed it the most!

We were especially glad that we could bring Ginger our dog - it's nice to find a 'pet friendly' place where we can vacation!

We will definitely recommend your cottage to our friends.

Hey Nancy,
It was a pleasure meeting you and your friend and of course Baci. Our stay at your cottage was delightful.

There wasn't anything we needed as your place was like being at home.

I especially loved our early morning walks along the beach, coffee in hand, and our evenings on the beach at sunset.

Everyday the water had its' own personality.

We will definitely be back. Thanks again for your hospitality.

Until then, stay as you are!

Dear Nancy
Your lovely, cozy and inviting cottage was the perfect place. The stylish furnishings and personal touches make you feel right at home.

I will always cherish the time spent watching my husband and son skipping rocks out over Lake Michigan and sharing a lot of laughs climbing that big sand hill up to the street..(now.. I REALLY know how I need to work out more...)..

We also laughed a lot playing the games you have available.. and we finally STOPPED watching the weather channel as soon as we finally decided.. fortunately... that Hurricane Rita was NOT going to destroy the world..

We all enjoyed ourselves at Dinges Farm. It isn't officially FALL for me... until we have pumpkins on the porch.. I believe that pumpkin farm was the coolest one I have ever seen; I had no idea there were THAT many varieties of pumpkins.. when my 15 year-old son came running over to me with his favorite pumpkin.. I smiled and remembered how he used to do that when he was a little boy.... I doubt I will ever have many more experiences like that..He is growing into such a wonderful young man..

Definitely recommend the Blue Plate cafe.. and St. Mary's in New Buffalo.. a very beautiful church..

Here's to living the cottage lifestyle EVERY day! CHEERS!

Thanks Nancy!
